San Anselmo, California artist Chanda Champagne's jewelry brings a touch of magic to those who wear her creations. Chanda draws guidance from ancestral women and the universe, deftly blending the elements of womanhood in all its wisdom and glory into her designs. She finds inspiration in her travels throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean, bringing her interpretation of other cultures, customs, and beauty to her sophisticated designs.

Chanda’s collection of jewelry and accessories incorporates a variety of elements including sterling silver, gold, precious and semi-precious stones, vintage glass, freshwater pearls and found objects. Her art is a celebration of her life experiences, her African American heritage and her joy. Blending these elements - sometimes delicately, sometimes with abandon, always with love – they are translated into engravings on silver, gold, and other metals, and combined with gems, stones and beads to create wonderful, whimsical works of art.

Chanda’s highly stylized distinctive, and exquisitely detailed necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and collectible sterling silver etched and ornately beaded bookmarks are delicate yet durable. She accepts commissioned design work and is also designing a home accessories line that will include decorative lampshades, etchings and garden accessories. Her work has been recognized by the Smithsonian Museum shop.
