Welcome to the wonderful warm days of Summer, with exciting new Jewelry that you made yourself. We have a full schedule of classes in Stringing, Wire work and Metalsmithing. Registration for summer schedule classes is now open. Receive a 10% Discount when you register for two or more classes at the same time (Classes must be paid for at the same time).
CLASS POLICY
Class space is confirmed upon receipt of payment. There are NO CLASS REFUNDS, unless cancelled by Chanda Champagne. A 48 hour notice is required if you cannot attend a class. A class credit will be issued and may only be used to transfer to another
Class. There is a $5.00 fee on all transfers. Failure to give 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of registration fees. There are no transfers or class credits issued for Guest Instructor Workshops. However, you may send someone in your place.
Begin with the exciting basic technique of stringing, and jewelry making. I will teach you how to string, use crimps. I will provide you with personal and continuing support, long after your class is over. I will also provide you with the supplies needed for most of my classes, which allows you to focus on developing your technique. This way you do not have to worry, just relax and have fun.
Traditionally, pearls and semi precious stone beads are strung with knots separating each bead. This is done primarily for safety, but can also be used to enhance your jewelry designs. Choosing appropriate tools, fabulous Silk threads, finishing with a clasp, tying the knots, and more will be covered in this class. All materials included. Kit includes tweezers, silk thread and beads.
Exciting… An introduction to working with wire. In the class students will learn basic looping techniques, and earring construction. Get a great start in tool selection and appropriate wire choices for each project. Enhance your jewelry designs with wire (All materials included).
Learn how to construct some of the most exciting, most popular earring designs you see in all the fashion magazines. The class will provide you with the skills necessary to construct not only the designs you see around, but also to come up with your own creative earring ideas. You will have so much fun learning how to work with wire, chain drops, etc… Class will give you 2 basic design ideas, which of course opens a flood of fantastic possibilities (All materials included).
Bring a bit of Greek architecture to your jewelry ensemble. Students will learn how to build a basic wire weaving structure to create an intricate wire earring component. Finishing options for custom creations will be discussed (All materials included).
We'll bring the party to your house! It is pure FUN, and Truly EXCITING! I will an assortment of beads, and wire. Each child will complete two pieces; a Bracelet and a Necklace. I will give assistance with designing ideas, stringing concepts and all colourful inspiration!

Terms:
* A $50 non-refundable deposit/set up fee is required and will be credited to total party cost.
* Minimum 6 guests/$100 and $12 for each additional child (with no restrictions on the amount of children) I have given parties for 50, Everyone walks away thrilled with their new creations.
* Cancellation must be received 48 hours prior to the event.
Teen/Adult Parties Ages: 13 & Up
Create your own pieces from examples provided or design a piece you have been Dreaming about. Party participants will be able to select from a colourful assortment of beads, and accent peices. I will provide beads, tools, wire etc. This is absolutely a wonderful way to get together with friends, and make something fun and exciting!
